THE 2018 JEFF AWARD WINNER FOR BEST ORIGINAL MUSIC

AND A NOMINEE FOR BEST SOUND DESIGN

"FOXFINDER is a ripping good yarn and never sags for a second. The whole affair is scored by Jesse Case with formidably complex results." - Chris Jones, The Chicago Tribune

"The design elements are very strong in this show. The true standout is the original music and sound design of Jesse Case. Some is truly sinister while other segments are quite beautiful. The music is used throughout all scene changes and sometimes underscores the action itself. It is always spot on and effective."  - Spotlight On The Lake

MORE ABOUT INTERROBANG THEATRE PROJECT

In the not so distant future, the economy is failing, food is scarce and paranoia is in the air. At a government-controlled farm, a "Foxfinder" arrives to investigate a suspected contamination.

Playwright Dawn King paints a complete portrait of dystopia (and the lives of those within it) through small, well-placed variations on a typical English pastoral. The score of the show mirrors that technique, tactically varying the modality and instrumentation of otherwise traditional English folk music, featuring solo violin written for Lyric Opera's John MacFarlane.
